A Senior's Journey

Life for me is normal, some extremely high, medium, and low days.  The decision to create this website was done for that reason.  So many times, we need a word from someone who has walked where we are walking.  My goal is to create a village of Senior Women who can discuss everything from A to Z.

How often we will come across someone who will ask how are you?  The standard answer is fine with a smile.  But! How would it feel to be able to say, “today is an off day for me.”  The person stops and turns all her attention to you. No, she does not try to match your story or fix your problem she just listens.

There are times we may need to pray or ask the person speaking what can we do for them.  And guess what? Just do what they need if possible.  And if not explain that you are unable to do the thing.  Together we can find answers to our financial, Health, Social, and Family needs just to name a few.

There are a few rules that we should agree to follow.

• If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing.

• While we all have difficult days, months, years, no pity parties.

• No promoting or selling allowed in this site
